A quiet expression, created to be used and to last a long time.

Mårbacka pelargon is a linen napkin that adds warmth and pattern to the table setting. As part of the Herbarium , designed by Hanna Wendelbo in collaboration with Klässbols Linneväveri, the napkin carries a story about home, tradition and everyday beauty.

The Mårbacka pelargon pattern emerged during Hanna's journey through Värmland. The landscape, forests and place names brought to mind Selma Lagerlöf's Mårbacka and the geraniums that have long been a natural part of both the place and Swedish homes. A motif that felt natural – as if it had already been there for some time.

In the Herbarium collection, the materiality of lineand the story of the pattern come together. The napkin is woven from high-quality linen in Klässbol, where a long tradition of craftsmanship and great knowledge of materials characterize every step of the production process. Mårbacka pelargon is a napkin created to be used often – for everyday meals as well as for more festive occasions. A small but significant element in the table setting, which ties the whole together and contributes both function and feel.
