Stavnäscheckn is named after the Värmland parish to which Klässbol belongs. The pattern is as genuinely Värmland as it gets. Stavnäscheckn was created by Hjalmar Johansson, the founder of Klässbols Linneväveri and grandfather and great-grandfather of the current generation of owners.

Some patterns belong in a special place. Stavnäscheckn is one of them. The pattern is named after the Stavnäs parish in Värmland, where Klässbol is located, and was created by Hjalmar Johansson – the founder of Klässbols Linneväveri and grandfather and great-grandfather of the current generation of owners.
The classic checkerboard therefore carries a very special history for us. From Hjalmar Johansson's loom to today's weaving mill, Stavnäscheckn has become a pattern associated with the place we come from and the craftsmanship we still carry forward.
Stavnäscheckn linen napkin is woven from 100% linen in our weaving mill in Klässbol. The natural linen gives the napkin a beautiful structure and a quality that is created to be used – again and again. Over time, the linen softens and takes on the personal feel that makes a woven linen napkin so special.
Set the table with Stavnäscheckn together with the linen tablecloth or table runner in the same pattern for a classic look. Or let the napkin stand out against a plain tablecloth and become the small detail that gives the table more character.

- Shrinkage 5–7% on first wash
- Dimensions apply to unwashed fabric
- Wash 60°C, with similar colors
- Iron or iron lightly damp
- Let air dry
