The King's 50th year on the throne
2023 – We welcome the new year by, among other things, celebrating HM the King and his 50 years on the throne and the 500th anniversary of the election of Gustav Vasa as King of Sweden. During the anniversary year, February - September, the King and Queen will travel throughout Sweden to visit all the residence cities. We hope to have a nice visit again.
We are incredibly grateful and proud to be Royal Court suppliers, as we have been since the 1970s. We are so happy to have been given the honor of supplying the Swedish court with exclusive table linen. Handwoven tablecloths, napkins, the Royal Tablecloth, upholstery fabric, Bolster fabric and curtains. Usually in connection with weddings and baptisms. Gifts from Klässbols to the Swedish court:
The King's Tablecloth
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the accession of King Carl XVI Gustaf, on 15 September 1993, the Riksdag and the government decided to present a gift. The gift was the royal tablecloth and napkins.
Wedding gift to Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel
For the wedding couple, we Jacquard-woven bed linen in extra thin and exclusive linen with Crown Princess Victoria's and Prince Daniel's crowned monogram. Four pillowcases, two duvet covers and two flat sheets were made in the color eggshell white.
Wedding gift for Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia
At the wedding reception at the Royal Palace, County Governor Kenneth Johansson presented gifts from Värmland, including specially designed products from Klässbols Linneväveri. Andreas, the fourth generation and CEO of Klässbols Linneväveri, was present. The gift consisted of a tablecloth and twelve napkins in pure linen with the wedding couple's common monogram woven into them.
Christening gift for HRH Princess Estelle
At the initiative of Region Värmland, Klässbols Linneväveri has produced a bed set with bottom sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers in 100 percent linen.
Christening gift for Prince Alexander
For the Dukes of Värmland – Prince Cal-Philips and Princess Sofia's firstborn son, we wove towels with Alexander's very own monogram.
