What size tablecloth should I have?
There is a “ standard calculation ” to follow. But since tables can have different shapes ( such as rounded corners ), it is often a matter of taste how large an overhang should be. If the table has rounded corners, you take a shorter tablecloth because otherwise there will be too much in the corners. A larger table usually requires a larger tablecloth with more overhang.
We recommend about 25-30 cm in overhang on each side of the table and no less than 20 cm to avoid the tablecloth “sticking out” on the sides. The tablecloth’s shrinkage of 5-7% during the first wash is included in the measurements below .
Example:
The dimensions of the table plus 60 x 60 cm extra ( total 30 cm overhang on each side ). A table that is 100 x 200 needs a tablecloth that is 160 x 260 to be on the safe side.

Measure the long and short sides of the table, then look at the table below. Still unsure about which size to get? Don't hesitate to contact us using the form below.
1. Measure the width of the table, then choose the width of the tablecloth you want.
| Table width | Width of the tablecloth |
| 80 – 90 cm | 140cm |
| 90 – 110 cm | 160cm |
| 120cm – 130cm | 180cm |
2. Measure the length of the table, then choose the length of the tablecloth you want.
| Table length | Tablecloth length |
| 100cm | 160cm |
| 140cm | 200cm |
| 160cm – 170cm | 225cm |
| 180cm – 190cm | 250cm |
| 200cm | 260cm |
| 210cm – 220cm | 280cm |
| 230cm – 240cm | 300cm |
| 250cm – 260cm | 325cm |
| 280cm – 290cm | 350cm |
| 300cm – 310cm | 370cm |
| 330cm – 340cm | 400cm |
How do we think when we calculate measurements?
The dimensions of the table plus 60 x 60 cm extra ( total 30 cm overhang on each side ). The tablecloth's shrinkage of 5-7% during the first wash is included in the measurement.
Example:
A table that is 100 x 200 needs a tablecloth that is 160 x 260 to be on the safe side.
