The towel – a design classic with a personal touch.
“ Of course there should be a hand on a towel! ” – Alf Levin. That was the idea that made eleven-year-old Alf Levin from Värmskog a designer for Klässbols Linneväveri – before he even turned a teenager. The towel with its characteristic hand quickly became a favorite, and is today an obvious part of our range of linen towels.

The personal story behind The Towel begins with a school visit to the weaving mill. Afterwards, Alf's class was encouraged by teacher Kerstin Walan to draw their own towel pattern. Alf drew his own hand on a squared notebook, wrote "Title: The Towel" at the top and submitted it. A few years later, his idea became a reality – an expressive pattern that combines childlike curiosity with timeless design.

The towel is woven from 100% linen, is durable, absorbent and only gets more beautiful with age. It fits equally well in the kitchen as in the bathroom and is a valued gift with history and soul. A tribute to simplicity, function and creativity – woven in Värmland, as always.
