Gåsöga linen napkin is part of the popular Gåsöga collection, which was developed in a collaboration between Klässbols and Iris Hantverk (Barolo/Mårtensson). The pattern is one of the most famous patterns we have from the Swedish pattern tradition.
“We wanted to take gåsöga and bring it into our time, to make a pattern that flashes to the past with a contemporary spirit. The pattern may seem simple, but has a complexity that has even challenged Klässbols’s extensive knowledge of jacquard techniques,” say Margot Barolo and Ulrika Mårtensson. The patterns end up randomly and therefore no product is the same.
Shrinkage: All sizes given refer to unwashed fabric. Expect shrinkage of approximately 5-7% in both length and width during the first wash. Follow the washing instructions.
