Fru Embla was nominated for FORMEX Formidable 2011! Fru Embla is a counterpart to Herr Ask and, like him, she has a strong character of her own. Seemingly randomly executed but with the greatest conscious order. She carries and frameslineand is perfect for setting the table with Herr Ask, which is a nice contrast with its sharp pattern. He, like Fru Embla goes from one color to another but they do it in their own different ways. The pattern has been ingrained in me for a long time and we have talked about Embla for a long time. It may look simple, but there are an incredible number of hours behind it to make the pattern look so random. Many samples were produced before we were completely satisfied. It is a dear reunion to be able to work with Klässbols Linneväveri again and with the materials and techniques that are allowed to maintain such a high quality, which is rare in Sweden's art industry today. – Margot Barolo

Shrinkage: All sizes given refer to unwashed fabric. Expect a shrinkage of around 5-7% both in length and width in connection with the first wash. Follow the washing instructions.
