Bolster is one of Klässbol linen weaving mill's most appreciated linen fabrics. A fabric that lives in homes, on furniture, in sofas, in window niches – and they are seen in TV contexts and interior design reports where style is allowed to speak. With its characteristic stripes – in wide, narrow or medium stripes – Bolster adds a pattern that feels both timeless and alive. A cushion woven from the natural material linen – durable and that only becomes more and more beautiful with time.
Designer Lena Rahoult has long been fascinated by striped patterns and bolster fabrics from different parts of Sweden. Her work with the Bolster series is a tribute to our allmogetradition – but with a modern twist:
“Swedish traditional techniques and patterns are a never-ending source of inspiration for me. With the 'Bolster' collection, I wanted to renew the Swedish bolster tradition and create a fabric that works in all types of interior design,” she says.
Now we are launching a new shade: sand in a medium stripe, with tones of mist green, antique green and white – a combination that looks just as good in a country kitchen as in a more modern home. Linen bolsters are more than just a beautiful detail – they are a sustainable, Swedish craft that invites conversation, rest and style.

The fabric is also available by the meter – perfect if you want to create a cohesive expression in your interior with cushions, benches or curtains in the same pattern.
