Blååker is a linen napkin that takes its starting point from line t's own flower and the landscape where it grows. As part of the Herbarium , designed by Hanna Wendelbo in collaboration with Klässbols Linneväveri, this is a napkin with a tranquil expression and deep roots in the material.

The work on Blååker began with an encounter with the materiality of line. For Hanna Wendelbo, the flax flower became an obvious starting point – not as an individual motif, but as the feeling of an entire flax field in bloom. An undulating, continuous pattern that brings to mind a bluish sea of ​​flax in motion.

In the Herbarium collection, the pattern has been translated into fabric with great care for both expression and function. The napkin is woven from high-quality linen in Klässbol, where long experience with the material ensures both durability and beautiful structure. The linen gives the napkin strength and luster, while it softens and develops with use.

Blååker is a napkin created for everyday table settings – just as natural for a simple meal as for a more elaborate table setting. A quiet element that ties the whole together and lets the material take center stage.
