About Jennie Adén's towels Säter and Haga
The Säter and Haga linen towels are inspired by classic weaving patterns and techniques, but instead of weaving straight, the patterns are hand-colored in irregular lines to create life and movement. These towels are really meant to be used and can be used without ironing or mangling. Just take them out of the washing machine and let them dry. They can also be hung so that both sides are visible.

The designer

Behind the design is Svensk Tenn's latest Design Fellow Jennie Adén. Jennie is considered one of Sweden's greatest design promises and is originally from Sölje. Read about her on Kurbit's Säter and Haga towels
Jennie about Jennie:
By “digging where I stand”, I want to highlight the local opportunities and materials that exist in a small area. I am driven by working with the entire design process, from refining raw materials to designing and manufacturing products, often using raw materials from and around Sölje, where I have a strong personal connection. Sölje is located on the other side of the Glafsfjorden from Klässbol. In 2018, I graduated from the Formlinjen, Beckmans Design School. I have been interested in textiles all my life and in my design I often work with weaving, felting and dyeing. I am inspired by historical craftsmanship in combination with today's needs, resources and techniques. We humans must relate to a more sustainable lifestyle and consumption habits, so with its high quality and local manufacturing, Klässbols Linneväveri is a matter of course.
