THE FOURTH GENERATION JOHANSSON TAKES OVER THE RIDERS

Or new and new, it is no less than Andreas Johansson, CEO since 2003 and John Johansson, weaver and lean coordinator who join as owners. They now become equal partners with their cousins Stefan Johansson and Cenita Johansson Åsen. It is the first time that four cousins ( fourth generation ) own the company. As of Wednesday, everything was finalized, but it has been planned for a long time.
HAS BEEN IN THE SAME FAMILY OWNED SINCE 1920
Klässbols Linneväveri, which currently employs 22 people, has been owned by the same family since its inception 103 years ago. With the change of ownership, the company will for the first time in the company's 103-year history be owned by cousins, all belonging to the fourth generation. A brief description of the people behind the change of ownership:
Andreas Johansson grew up in Klässbol, not far from the linen factory. He started his career at the age of 14 as a summer worker in production and later in sales. After graduating, he took a break from the company for military service for 1.5 years. In 2001, Andreas returned to Klässbol and today works as CEO of the company, which he has done since 2003.
Dick Johansson , the third generation, began his career at Klässbols at the age of 14. In 1975, Dick took over Klässbols Linneväveri from his father, Vitalis Johansson, together with his brothers Sven-Olof and Torbjörn Johansson. Like his brothers, Dick started out as a weaver, but during his years in the company he has primarily worked with sales, marketing and was CEO for many years. Dick is not completely letting go of the company after 59 years in business, but continues as a board member and senior advisor.
John Johansson also grew up in Klässbol, Billingsberg, and started his career as a summer worker in production. After graduating and a few years as a temporary worker in production, he became a permanent employee in 2016. Today, John works with weaving, warping and pattern making and has over the years built up his knowledge base to be production manager together with his cousin Stefan.
Urban Johansson , the third generation, began his career as a weaver immediately after graduation. But already at the age of 14 he worked in the weaving mill for the summer. Urban is the youngest in the third generation and joined as owner in 1988. Urban has worked in production during all his 48 years in the company, primarily with weaving, but in recent years also a lot with pattern making. In 1996, Urban received the “Swedish Form” award for his design Linjal. Urban will remain with the company part-time and be a resource for production.

NOW WE LOOK FORWARD
During the spring, a lot of things will happen at Klässbols Linneväveri. Some of those things are, we are making a major investment in our machinery, releasing new products in our linen products and much more.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for all the congratulations and all the encouragement. Without you, we are nothing! A big thank you to you from us.
