Ulrika Elovsson

“Two intersecting threads are the starting point for all woven textiles, and that is where my creative process begins. In collaboration with Klässbols Linneväveri, I have wanted to reconnect with old textile traditions. Using different technologies, both high-tech and low-tech, I can express different “languages” and tell different stories.”
The Memory collection – bedspreads and pillows – is the result, designed by Ulrika Elovsson. Memory has been awarded the Formex Formidable 2008, in the category “Cultural Heritage of the Year”, and the Edida Elle Interior Design Award 2009 in the category “Bedroom Accessories of the Year”.
