
Kerstin Munter

Kerstin Munter (1957 – 2006), worked as a designer/glassblower from 1981 to 2006 and had her roots in Värmland. During the 1970s and 1980s, she exhibited in the USA, England, Japan, Holland and France, in addition to many exhibitions in Sweden.
In the autumn of 1991, Kerstin returned to Värmland to run her own glass workshop from 1992 as part of the Handicraft Tour in Klässbol, which also includes the Linen Weaving. Education she has completed includes: Aesthetics at Kyrkerud Folk High School (1974), the National Glass School in Orrefors (1980), and Artistic Education, Grundis, in Stockholm (1981). She ran her own glass workshop in Robertsfors and Klässbol for just over twenty years.
