Every year all tables at the Nobel Banquet are set together with the Nobel napkins. The Nobel cloth is part of “Nobel a magnificent tableware” and the design was distinguished by the design award – Excellent Swedish Form in 1992. The Nobel Peace Prize was presented especially before the celebration of the Nobel Prize and the 90th Anniversary of the Nobel Prize in 1991. It was inaugurated by their Majesty King and Queen during the magnificent banquet in the Blue Hall, Stockholm City Hall.

Nobel cloth and napkins are woven by us, Klässbols Linneväveri in traditional technology with modern design. The woven window pattern becomes visible by diffusing the light differently from the warp and weave surfaces. The white napkins in size 70×70 cm, are woven in damask with a thinner lining that nicely emphasizes the Nobel emblem in one of the napkin’s corners. The Nobel range has been supplemented with a satin-napkin in size 50×50 cm, in the colors of sand and white.

Shrinkage: All specified sizes refer to nonwashed tissue. Consider a shrinkage of about 5-7% both length and width in connection with the first wash. Follow the washing instructions.
