Dylta – the inspiration behind the Nobel Cloth
Dylta has a unique history and is the model for the well-known Nobel Cloth. The pattern was rediscovered by Helena Dahlbäck-Luttermans, director of the Röhsska Museum, at Baroness Lea Åkerhielm's Dylta Mill in Närke. The original was woven in coarse, homespun and unbleached pure linen yarn – a quality that reflects the strong tradition of Swedish linen weaving.

In our new production, we have preserved all the original conditions and refined them with today's craftsmanship. Dylta table runners are intended to be used often - with each wash, the luster of the linen develops and the beautiful character of the textile emerges more clearly.

Feel free to combine Dylta with our other linen products such as napkins, tablecloths and towels to create a table setting that combines history, elegance and everyday function.
