2019 the idea of ​​a commonly project was born. The goal was to create a pattern that fits just as well on the table as interior textile. And a beautiful pattern with a clear connection to nature.

In principle, all my projects have some form of relationship to nature, garden and flora, says Lars.

In the IV Clover Collection, we meet the four-leaf clover, a plant that Lars has collected and saved in books since childhood. Furthermore, Lars is inspired by Louise de Vilmorin, the author who wrote Coco Chanel’s biography in 1957 and the family since 1746 has made themself known as France’s leading seed producer. A family that symbolizes botany and garden splendor.

The pattern I designed, I imagine that Louise de Vilmorin would decorate with today. The table textiles are of course in 100% linen, and we have also developed a stronger textile woven in wool and linen for furniture upholstery and pillows. When I design I think a lot about how to use the products in different contexts and seasons. It is important that it is a combination of high quality and design that lasts.

Active in mainly the fashion industry but also in interior design for over 30 years. From Virginska School in Örebro to fashion such as the Paris Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in France. An internship led to employment at Chanel Haute Couture. After that to Christian Lacroix where he spent nine years. His career then continued in some of the world’s largest fashion houses like Balmain, Dior, Ralph Lauren, Bill Blass and Nina Ricci.<br>Lars has received several awards and recognitions for his work and held a place on Vanity Fair’s Best Dressed list 2001 for New York Magazine Designer of the Year 2001.
