Born and raised on Kinnekulle. He built his first loom in 1957 in the garage at the Götene and learned from his wife Ann-Britta Edvisson to mount the jaquard. In 1960, the two operations moved to Österplana on Kinnekulle. The Makers Anna-Britta and Joseph gave away the right of disposal of nine Widlund looms to Klässbol’s linen weave in the 80th.
