Schackrutan (“Chess Square“) is a well-known and very old pattern. The only thing we know is that it belongs to the patterns that in olden times could be woven in a simple handloom. The checkerboard is a classic Klässbols pattern and an important part of the Klässbols brand. The linen cloth is, like all our other products, woven in our weaving mill in Klässbol from the finest linen. If you take care of it in the right way, you can enjoy it for many, many years. The fact is that it is difficult to find any textile other than linen that has such a high quality, is so durable, environmentally friendly, and feels more beautiful the more time passes. Therefore, Klässbol’s linen products are perfect for parties as well as for everyday life, for young, old, or for you that is in the middle of life. Once you have started using linen products, you should preferably not replace them. If you have begun to use linen products, you rarely change them. Shrinkage: All listed sizes refer to unwashed tissue. Expect a shrinkage of about 5-7% in both length and width in connection with the first wash. Follow the washing instructions.
