Gläntan is a beautiful eyelet curtain in pure linen. A curtain that creates a nice detail in all the windows of the home. One of our weavers, John Johansson, the fourth generation Johansson, was actually going to weave and recreate another linen product, a tip from a colleague. In the pattern studio, he created a pattern for the purpose and then started weaving a sample. A sample was woven and the fabric fell apart, it became a kind of circular weave and it was not quite what he had imagined.. He showed the sample to a colleague who happily said "This is a eyelet curtain!". John paused his intended project and continued to create a eyelet curtain.

“A hole curtain is difficult to make on weaving machines, and in our machines you have to adapt the machine to the curtain as hole curtains are usually hand-woven.” – John

Weaving technique: The Gläntan eyelet curtain is woven on a white warp with elements of white or unbleached color. If you want a specific color, just contact us. But with the help of the Jacquard, a round fabric is woven.
