Blååker – a towel inspired by blooming flax fields.

Blååker is a linen towel that takes its starting point from linet's own flower. Designed by Hanna Wendelbo and woven in Klässbol, this is a towel where function meets a tranquil pattern with roots in the landscape.

In Blååker the pattern has grown out of the whole rather than from an individual flower. An undulating, harmonious expression that brings to mind a blooming flax field – a bluish sea that moves softly in the wind. A motif that reflects the origin of lineand reminds us of the material's close connection to nature.

The towel is woven from high-quality linen in Klässbol, where knowledge of the material's properties is an inherent part of the craftsmanship. The linen has a naturally high absorbency, dries quickly and is durable, making the towel particularly well-suited for daily use in the kitchen or bathroom.

Blååker is a towel that is meant to be used often. Over time, the linen becomes softer, more supple and acquires a beautiful patina – a textile that develops with everyday life and becomes increasingly personal.
