If you visit the store on Sveavägen in Stockholm you will be met by a new face, Lena Levin. Lena is the new store manager and contact person in the Stockholm area, but she is not new to Klässbols. In an earlier stage, Lena worked for Iris Craft, which is one of Klässbol’s collaborative partners.
Lena and Klässbol’s common vision for crafts and natural products makes it easy to work together. Like Klässbols, she wants to increase the knowledge and understanding of the different materials found in nature and what can be done with them. Together we can continue the ongoing and important sustainability work.
Lena is easy going and she has over 30 years of experience in the craft and textile industry and therefore she fits Klässbol’s and our customers very well. She gained her interest and future career path already at a young age and therefore applied to the Textile Institute in Borås. She has since then had a long career and maybe you recognize her from Marimekko, Iris Hantverk or now most recently Bemz.
Lena now wants to make it convenient at Sveavägen in order to be able to offer a vibrant and attractive store, for both private customers and companies. She wants to create a place where the customer can gain a greater understanding of the power of linen products, get help with choosing the right product for specific occasions, match color combinations and be inspired. There is also a small desire to shift change the formal and somewhat solemn usage and give more room to the everyday use of linen products because it is so durable. You could say that Lena wants to let the flax to grow and bloom.
